New CWDM module with 16 channels!
The Blue Shift could now offer also a 1:16 CWDM module in our standard portfolio. The new higher configuration means that the (C)WDM portfolio consist of WDM 1:2, CWDM 1:4, CWDM 1:8 and CWDM 1:16 configurations.
The CWDM components could ideally be delivered in our FTTx Modules with either adapter or connector interface.

The FTTx Modules designed for 19”/ETSI cabinets or various wall-cabinets are user- friendly with a very moderate starting costs and unlimited expansion possibilities! Please contact us for more information.

Flangeless SC simplex adapter.
The Blue Shift could offer a complete portfolio of Telcordia and NTT tested
SC adapters as well as SC connectors. The products could optionally be offered
with two types of translucent dust caps to simplify fiber identification during
installation. The flangeless SC simplex design makes it possible to design
dense product solutions such as Splitter Modules and FDF solutions.

Ericsson is interested in the Ribbonet ABF Business in Korea.
The Blue Shift has made an agreement with Ericsson to transfer the Ribbonet ABF Business Contract for the Korean market back to Ericsson Group. The contract will be transferred from 1st of January 2008.

Business Manager Sun Won Song will join Ericsson Group and has been offered the position as "Business Solution Manager – FTTx Networks & Solutions" within Ericsson Network Technologies. The Blue Shift could offer a new 2f Circular Round Cord Cable design with zipcord cable inside. The cable is used by major Telecom operators and network carriers in Europe and other regions.

New Termination Panel Boxes available for Indoor and Outdoor installations
The Blue Shift could offer a complete range of Termination Panel Boxes for indoor and outdoor installation. The OTP boxes are designed to be able handle PLC Splitter products and interconnections based on adapter interface in the house node and access nodes in the FTTx networks.

Great interest for the new Splitter Portfolio at ECOC Exhibition in Berlin.
The Blue Shift´s new Splitter Portfolio was officially launched and on display during the ECOC exhibition in Berlin. There was a great interest in the modular and installer friendly design solutions of the new Splitter Portfolio.

Especially the FTTx Bulkhead solutions (10 x 1:32 PLC Splitters w. optional connector interface on 1U) was creating a lot of interest among visitors and competitors at the show.

September 17-19 the Fiber Optic exhibition ECOC 2007 take place in Berlin.
Each year international buyers and technicians visit the European Fiber Optic
Exhibition ECOC to discover technologies, which match their specific
requirements, meet new suppliers, and network.

For the 4th year in a row The Blue Shift has its own booth at ECOC to show the
latest products developments and to discuss product quality and your special
requirements and needs within the Fiber Optic Interconnect area.

September 4-6 2007 the exhibition Elkom is held in Helsinki Fair Centre.
Elkom is the leading event in professional electronics in the Baltic region.
It is now being organised for the seventeenth time. Elkom is focused on

New PLC Splitter Module configurations available
The Blue Shift could offer the following PLC Splitter Products:
1:2, 1:4, 1:6, 1:8, 1:12, 1:16, 1:24, 1:32 & 1:64

The new PLC Splitter ratios are extremely interested and effective when designing your PON networks. Especially in the 1:24 PLC splitter Module solution will mean that the 100Mbps limitation for each user in a GPON
network is secured!

The new 3x bigger production facility in Gwangju is now in use!
The new 3x bigger factory building was finished according to the time-schedule and all needed preparation secured in time. The new main factory in Korea was successfully taken in use. Moving the current production facility was made during a few hectic days in end of May and everything went as planned!

The capacity is currently similar as before but we could no plan and secure the forecasted ramp-ups announced by our partners with maintained process quality and flexibility in terms of short lead-times! Please feel free to visit us anytime to find out about our new assembly capabilities and new product capabilities in the new factory!

The Blue Shift wins high-end FTTx ABF project in Incheon South Korea!
Together with its partner GS Neotek TBS wins the project for 784 apartments in Incheon area outside Seoul in South Korea. The ABF technique of Ericsson Ribbonet Systems was selected as the preferred solution by the construction company for this super class FTTH installation!

The installation will be ready by end of June. Please contact us to learn more about the project and our possibilities within the FTTx area!

The Blue Shift Splitter Product Portfolio has been launched!
The new Splitter Product consists of 19" Splitter Modules, various Compact Micro Splitter Modules with either adapter interfaces or connector interface.
Most types of adapters and connector interfaces of course available as well as custom designs.

The Blue Shift offers a wide range of FBT Splitters, PLC Splitters as well as WDM and CWDM modules!
The Broadband area incl. the CATV/CCTV based on fiber solutions requires a lot more from your passive network. Please contact us for more information how to design your fiber optic network.

The blue Shift expands!
The Blue Shift is expanding its business and will move to a new office in Solna Stockholm in end of December. The new address is Bränneriet at Hufvudsta Gård. Hufvudsta Gård has a long history all the way back to the Vikings!
In the 17th century the Hufvudsta Castle was renovated and in the 19th century the main building was moved and the surrounding buildings incl. stables, distillery etc. were rebuilt.

The new office of The Blue Shift is in the old Distillery (Bränneriet) of Huvudsta Gård with a view over Ulvsundasjön of lake Mälaren ...

Hufvudsta Gård was once called the "Murder Castle" since this was the place where the murder of the Swedish King Gustaf III was planned in the 1792 … The Blue Shift is not planning for such acts but the new office will be the base for future business expansion outside Korea! Regardless of the name Bränneriet (the Distillery) we could however only serve coffee or tea if you
would honor us a visit!

TBS launch a new PLC 1:64 Splitter for the FTTx Market. The 1:64 Splitter is ideal for the PON fiber optic networks were you would like to utilize on each fiber and connect as many end-user as possible the last mile!

The Blue Shift has a established a representative office in Silicon Valley in California. The Silicon Valley area is great location for expansion within the fiber optic applications both related to Telecom, IT but also the Medicine area.

The strategic location just north of Mexico also provides great opportunities for the fiber optic commodities that are needed in the fiber optic production on behalf of American and Mexican companies.

New un-even split ratios!
Now it is also possible to have un-even split ratios also for the PLC Splitters. TBS could present a VIPS-splitters (type of TAP-coupler) with split ratio of 1 pass-thru fiber and 4 drop-fibers. This new design make it possible to design FTTx PON fiber networks more efficient and cost effective! Please contact us for more information!
